Please join me, along with Susan Tipton, winemaker of Acquiesce Winery and Susan Manfull, Editor of Provence WineZine for our third virtual cooking, wine pairing, and wine education class.

The event will begin with a demonstration of the decadent Strawberry Mascarpone Fool (fresh seasonal strawberries with whipped mascarpone cheese) this dish is all about the promise of summer, warm weather and alfresco dinners. Sue’s 2020 Grenache Rosé paired beautifully with it – I can’t wait to share both the recipe and wine with you.

Sue will be tasting three of her wines with you: the limited Gold Medal winning 2018 Belle Blanc (white blend), 2020 Viognier and newly released 2020 Grenache Rosé. Susan Manfull will then share her insights with us on Provençal Rosés and her thoughts on the Acquiesce Rosé, along with posing questions and taking some of yours.

How can you join us? JUST CLICK HERE – the cost is only $90 for the event (which includes the three bottles of wine).  Acquiesce Club members save an additional 20%! SHIPPING IS FREE for all!

This Sunday April 25th is the last day for wine orders to insure the wine arrives in time for the event. (all orders will be shipped FREE via 3-day service).  We will record the event so those who are late to the party can watch and partake at a later date. Click HERE to register (Save My Spot) for the event (NOTE: even if you clicked above to buy the wines, you still need to register for the event!)

I hope you can join us!

I’m sorry I missed this, David! Although I would like to be described as someone who does not suffer fools, I suffer them all the time. Once summer hits, it’s my favorite way to highlight new berries! I’ve never made one with mascarpone, though. And I love the way the ones in the photo are put together. Also never thought to pair them with wine!

No worries, Jeff – it was fun, and the only downside is that Mark and I had to eat all that fool! Fools are we!

The wine pairing was truly amazing. It was my first time pairing a non-dessert wine with dessert and it was eye-opening!

I so wanted to do this David. Sadly (the first time I caught one of these in time even) I was down for hip replacement. Alas not sure when I’ll be drinking again (I figured I should walk first, probably well). But I’ll keep my eyes open for the next!

Oh, jeez Inger – I hope you are doing okay! I know that hips are pretty easy to replace (in the greater scheme of things) but still tough. Take good care!
